On April 19, 2002, a man who claimed to be Yang Jianli, entered China illegally with someone else's passport. He was detained on April 26 while using a falified identification card, attempting to board a domestic flight from Kunming to Xishuangbanna. Yunnan Province. He has violated China's law and become a subject of an investigation by the law enforement authority which is looking into his true identity and illegal activities.
